The fact that digital printing has largely replaced offset printing at Zweifel AG is not least due to the flexible application possibilities of the product. Thus, products such as the EM Goal display can be used at the point of sale in a targeted manner and without much delay in the event of special public events.

Two exclusive types of crisps will accompany this year's European Football Championship: The typical Swiss crisps "Härdöpfelsalat" have a spicy fresh taste of radishes, cucumber, mayonnaise and dill. The crisps Café de Paris are the elegant aromatic creation that represents the host country France and tastes authentically of the famous creamy butter. Without the crispy pleasure, the European Football Championship in France would only be half as stimulating. For almost 60 years, the Swiss family-owned company has been offering new and exciting taste creations. All of them are fresh and crispy.
In cooperation with Model, the modular point of sale display was developed, allowing the various products to be presented in an eye-catching manner. The compatible cubes are simply stacked on top of each other and connected according to the modular principle. In this way, depending on space and requirements, sturdy, self-supporting elements are created - completely without adhesives. Together with the corresponding topper, the attractive display is complete. Important for handling: All recyclable elements that are digitally printed at Model are delivered flat. Thus the Zweifel sales consultant can transport them in the fresh service vehicle and set them up easily.
Mr Heller, why do you have your packaging and point of sale materials printed digitally?
Digital printing brings us great advantages in terms of flexibility. Today, we can print our advertising materials in three languages, even for small print runs.
Have you changed all your packaging or only special types?
Only special types, especially the point of sale material, because this is where we reap the greatest benefits. The topics at the point of sale are short-lived and spin fast. Current topics can be implemented immediately.
What are the special features of the point of sale display?
The display was completely redeveloped in cooperation with Model. The modular design allows many application possibilities. During the promotion we can thus react to the current events (e.g. Switzerland in the EM finals) and have clear advantages over offset printing.
Where do you see the challenges in digital printing?
Digital printing requires very high quality print data. Due to the high print resolution, errors are printed mercilessly and are immediately detected.
What prospects does digital printing open up?
Digital printing has replaced offset printing in most cases in our company. The new digital printing press is extremely efficient, especially for large orders.
How did you experience working with the Model team?
We experience the cooperation as very professional. We also greatly appreciate the open and fast communication. A close involvement in the projects on the part of Model helps us to implement them.
