Take-away packaging for the finest sushi

For the renowned restaurant Mimisan Sushi in Bülach, Switzerland, our Czech experts developed high-quality to-go packaging – completely remote thanks to 3D technology and digital collaboration.

International cooperation for the optimal packaging solution

Your company does not have to be a large corporation to develop an optimal packaging solution with our experts. The best example: Mimisan Sushi from Bülach in Switzerland.

Refined solid board in top form

The medium-sized family business Mimisan first asked the Swiss branch of the Model Group. The owners Mimi and Sung Thai needed the highest quality takeaway sushi boxes. It quickly became clear that this was a job for our colleagues in the Czech Republic, who are more familiar with the refined solid board than a few others in the market.

The Extra in the Ordinary

The result: No ordinary to-go packaging. But a product thought out down to the last detail, which fits perfectly to the requirements of the customer. The impressive Mimisan packaging transports the delicious content safely and underlines the finesse of the sushi with visual and haptic premium effects.

Highest quality: Sushi take-away packaging

Noble solid board

A sturdy solid board made of pulp is ideally suited for food packaging with demanding printing. The Mimisan Sushi packaging is easy to recycle.

3D technology

The Model experts in the Czech Republic were able to coordinate with our Swiss customer Mimisan without any problems. Thanks to the digital 3D representation of the future take-away packaging.

Teamwork digital

This project shows that remote collaboration for optimal packaging solutions works perfectly. Model is ideally positioned for these processes and workflows.

Insights into to-go packaging

Cunning

Material and finishing

The sushi box made of solid cardboard has been refined with special cold foil printing and UV gloss with offset printing. In addition, the take-away packaging impresses with a haptic «skin effect»: the delicate pattern gives a sandy feeling – and makes the black surface insensitive to fingerprints. The Mimisan logo has been discreetly incorporated as embossing.

Certified

Food safely packaged

The inner packaging of the Mimisan Sushi Box does not require glue and is of course certified for contact with food. At Model, we attach great importance to hygienic production and high-quality pulp that meets the highest standards of the FMCG industry. The Model plants are also BRC certified.

Fast implementation

Only three months

It took only three months from the first contact to the final construction. The sushi boxes arrived at Mimisan Sushi in Bülach another two months later, after production and quality control.

Synergies at Model

In the right place

The services of the Model Group build on each other in a meaningful way. As a customer, you do not have to worry about which of our European plants will process your order. Your packaging is always in the right place: from innovative design to production and safe transport to the complete model co-packing service – and if you wish, we also take care of the sustainable recycling of your used cardboard.
