    D-Performance from Model

    The D-Performance achieves higher technical values with the same wave height and in combination with lightweight papers.

    With the commissioning of our ultra-modern paper mill in Eilenburg, which produces lightweight paper with a recovered paper content of up to up to 100% recycled paper, we have opted for a flute we opted for a flute geometry that is fully geared towards performance fully focussed on performance:

    The D-Performance achieves higher technical values with the same shaft height and in combination with lightweight papers. It has a height of just under 2 mm and therefore closes the gap between B and E flutes.

    These properties bring you numerous advantages:

    • You increase your pallet utilisation by up to 25%
    • You save storage and logistics costs and up to 20% storage space
    • You reduce your CO2 footprint and benefit from an improved print image

    D-Performance at a glance

    Features

    • The total thickness of 2.3 mm is lower than that of a B-shaft.
    • With a value of 5.25 mm, the shaft pitch is smaller than that of the B-shaft. This special performance geometry leads to better printability and higher technical values.

    Advantages

    • IMPROVED LOGISTICS: The higher number of sheets per pallet means less storage space is required.
    • ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY: Fewer pallets and lower resource consumption lead to reduced CO2 emissions.
    • IMPROVED PRINTING: The improved corrugated flow gives the packaging a smoother and higher quality surface, which is also easier to print on.
