Model AG invests in Chroma X Pro 2100 from Koenig & Bauer Celmacch
Chroma X Pro 2100 with the highest level of automation will be in production at our Weinfelden site next year.

We have placed an order with Koenig & Bauer Celmacch for a Chroma X Pro with a working width of 2,100 mm and seven printing units. The new press will be delivered in summer 2024 and installed at the factory in Weinfelden.

About Chrome X Pro 2100
The system has a roller-less infeed so that the corrugated sheets are conveyed into the machine without damaging the material. The vacuum roller transport within the Chroma X Pro is low-wear and thus ensures considerably lower spare parts and maintenance costs. Blank cleaning in the printing unit, washing and pail ejection are all fully automatic on the Chroma X Pro, based on a machine-controlled job comparison - this shortens makeready times. At the same time, the operating personnel at the press are relieved and can take on other tasks. The register control system and print image control are also part of the press equipment, as is the Easy Job Change, which makes it possible within 180 seconds to start the new production with the digital workflow of the Chroma X Pro. The follow-up job can already be loaded and preloaded during ongoing production.
