    Heat-Sealable Recycled Paper

A reliable alternative to plastic – without compromising performance

When requirements change, new solutions are needed

Packaging requirements are changing. With the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation, recyclability and material efficiency are becoming key decision factors.

Our heat-sealable recycled paper offers a practical solution for flow wrap packaging in the non-food sector – designed to replace plastic films and virgin fibre paper.

    Designed for Your Production

Sustainability alone is not enough. What matters is reliable performance in your production environment.

Our paper is specifically engineered for industrial use:

    • Excellent heat-sealing properties
    • Compatible with standard packaging machines
    • No reduction in production speed compared to plastic

You change the material – not your efficiency.

    Typical Non-Food Applications

Ideal for products without barrier requirements:

    • Toys (e.g. puzzles, building blocks)
    • Electronics (e.g. cables, plugs, light bulbs)
    • Construction items (e.g. screws, anchors)

Important: Not suitable for applications requiring high moisture or oxygen barriers.

    What to consider when switching

Switching from plastic to paper is technically feasible – but usually requires an adjustment of your machine setup.

    Paper behaves differently than plastic:

    • Less flexible
    • Requires larger bending radii
    • More sensitive during the forming process

    In practice, this means:

    • A new forming shoulder is typically required
    • Investment approx. €2,000
    • Enables processing of both paper and plastic afterwards

Without adjustment: risk of process instability With adjustment: stable and reliable production

    Sample rolls and customer testing

Interested customers can order sample rolls of approx. 100 linear metres via Clarus Films. The following specifications are required:

    • Roll width
    • Core
    • Outer diameter
    • Running length

Clarus Films will produce the sample roll and ship it directly to the customer. We are happy to support on-site testing.

Requesting an offer - how it works:

To obtain an offer, please contact Clarus-Films. There are two options:

    1. Forward the customer directly to Clarus-Films.
