Fold up Pick up
Se Hyeon Won, Namju Kim, Kyoungjin Lee, Hyeonjeong Lim (KOR)
'Fold up Pick up' is a package that changes its form according to each supply chain process, from distribution to sales. Main advantage is that one package can be used in various situations. In the initial distribution process, it has a general box form for warehousing and delivery. If users rip off the wings on both sides and fold them up, advertising banners will appear. Eventually, customers can easily pick up the package with the middle hole handle and take it away to their home.
Cocoon
Paula Cano, Philipp Hainke (ESP)
The design is made from two elements: the structural packaging from a B-wave corrugated cardboard, and a wrapper that holds the bottles in position. The wrapper consists of a single sheet of open B-wave corrugated cardboard, which allows the unusual bending and creates the elegant appearance of the packaging. The bottles become a part of the structure by giving the wrapper its final shape. The handles can be folded down for flat-pack storage. The top can be opened to access the bottles.
FFP
Seonkyu Oh (KOR)
Inspired by flowers, it utilizes the elasticity of the paper to bring 'happiness' to the recipient. The five leaves unfold like a flower in full bloom when the lid is opened, and the elasticity of the paper creates a 'surprise show' as the paper rotates inside to reveal the shape of the flower. The leaves can then be unfolded and used as a display case. Instead of using an internal cushion, the elasticity of the lightweight paper was used to maximize the effect while minimizing bulk and weight.
3in1
Veronika Plevová (CZE)
My goal is to design a packaging that will be reused. I´ve chosen a wine gift box. Generally I see problem in disposability of packagings at all. My universal wine rack has been designed for different types of wine bottles and I also meant it as the coasters under the glasses as well. It can be used for a long time. My packaging consists of one piece of three-layer corrugated cardboard. The graphics are inspired by vineyards and the golden colour symbolises the rich taste of the wine.
Vodka & Juice Mix
Kashish Sharma, Siddhi Gupta (IND)
Vodka Mix is a premium quality cocktail that brings together the clear flavour of vodka with a blend of fresh fruit juice. This is a complete travel kit, with a hexagonal box, which has a detachable triangle of vodka, which can be poured into the main carton. The main carton has a bigger way to pierce opening to allow ease for pouring. Once you pour the vodka, gently shake the carton, and Voila! Your cocktail is ready!
KLOPE
Daniela Řádková (CZE)
Package Klope presents more functions, than u think. After you buy cans with this secondary package, youll know you are getting them home safe. Function of the package is simple, holder isnt permanent so you can just pull it out. Lateral sides will twist and create a triangle, then cans flips out of the box.
SODA STAR
Maxim Halfar (CZE)
My package ''SODA STAR'' is made out of 2 mm cardboard and the whole package is bound together by unglued joints. The story behind choosing ''Něco jako cola'' as the drink has started when my partner and I visited a new coffe place where they sell an alternative to a cola made by two independent friends from Czech Republic. I was immediately intrigued by their story - brand and started to think about an omnichannel packaging this tasty drink could use for storage, transport and display in stores.
Budapest Coffee Stand packaging
Rita Éltes (HUN)
The packaging introduces a new product for a Hungarian café: a smooth-flavored cold brew coffee in glass bottles. The brand invites coffee lovers to slow down and discover the hidden treasures of Budapest: the continuous illustration on the boxes highlights three local Art Deco palaces and even the packaging’s 2-level structure calls for more discoveries with special ingredients for the drink. Sustainable solutions include 2-color printing, the use of natural glue, and reusable glass bottles.
Omnichannel beverage packaging for wine
Annika Krmaschková (CZE)
Thanks to the quick-folding construction the packaging can be arranged in an endless succession. It is ideal for transporting large quantities, in a cardboard box. They are also intended for sale, because their cut-outs, which symbolize the vine, catch the eye at first glance. I decided to innovate packaging. Why can't a shipping package also be visually attractive? Material: microwave brown cardboard (1.5 mm). Structure is assembled without gluing. On the back side are engraved handling marks.
Sipster
Laura Mikušková (CZE)
I followed briefing number one and designed a cup holder that holds up to four cups. It has a system of bending the edges, which then forms one large holder so we can easily take all the drinks with one hand. The small holes in each cup hole are an advantage. We can put sugar, milk, or straw in them, so we have all the necessary things in one place.
Zig Zag Wine Packaging
Kinga Szabó (HUN)
The idea behind my packaging is to achieve the usual wine packaging with less material. I used corrugated cardboard (2 mm). With Zig Zag Packaging I wanted to give you a new unboxing experience so that the wine could be a joy for the other senses not just the taste buds. As you open the the box on the top you will find some tips on what is the best to consume with the wine. On the back of the packaging you can find out more about the type of wine, which is inside the box.
Geovine
Olaf Stachurski (POL)
Geovine is made with a 1.5mm cardboard and 100% recycled paper, infused with 5% coffee waste. The packaging celebrates the importance of supporting local vineyards, with they unique location. The pop-up opening provides a convenient and stylish way to access the bottle, while the slightly torn label encourages a sense of discovery and intrigue. With its eco-friendly materials and attention to detail, this packaging elevates the wine experience while also promoting sustainability in the industry.
Foltio
Katarína Davidová (SVK)
One of the problems in waste sorting is overfilled paper containers. Often, the container is full due to throwing out air. Cardboard boxes don‘t decompose to take up less space. Foltio challenges to compress the owl by overcharging in places. Foltio is then folded up to take up as little space as possible. It is made of brown recycled cardboard with dimensions of 7.5 cm × 7.5 cm × 33.75 cm with a weight of 300 g/m2. It is designed for a 0.5 litre glass bottle of alcohol.
Flat Juice packaging
Mariia Sokolova (CZE)
Flat juice packaging is a unique way of packaging drinks. A5 packaging format, which will easily fit into any bag or backpack along with books. You can also fold the package in half and put it in a smaller handbag. The package consists of a paper top layer and a plastic packet inside. The tube is hermetically packed and will not be lost during transportation. Also, after drinking, you can easily separate the paper layer from the plastic one and throw it into different trash bins.
BOX wine
Eduard Špička (CZE)
Why transport wine in boxes that are not intended for sale? At the same time, this box becomes a product, and we don't have to waste unnecessary packaging material. I was inspired by boxed wine, which is the antithesis of expensive and high-quality wines. The box, however, allows easy stacking of shelves while at the same time being easier to transport, unpack and move around whereas in such situations the ´prestige´ wine bottle risks being damaged. The box is made of microwaveable cardboard E.
Omni-Pack X6
Philipp Hainke (GER)
The single sheet packaging is designed for 6x0,33l bottles. To provide protection for shipping, the box is made of corrugated cardboard with a single B-Wave. The two big flaps are the only element using glue. Its perforation allows it to open the packaging in a way which creates two individual displays-packs, which utilise the original handle. The display also functions as take-away box and offers the possibility to buy the bottles not only individually, but also as a pack of three or six.
PAVEZA A non glued bottle carrier
Lujza Krčmárová, Karol Krčmár (SVK)
The carrier is not glued and protects the bottle from smaller bumps. A long and firm handle is mede of rolled up double wall corrugated cardboard. It is inserted into the gaps after the bottle has been put into the carrier. The carrier's sides are narrover on the top so the bottle does not fall out even if the carrier itself turns over. Thus, the bottle is protected from all sides.
Everything for coffee
Paulína Košíková (SVK)
As long as I’m “thirsty for packaging” I designed a package, that works as a coffee cup holder. It’s made of a thin cardboard of size circa A4. The customer should take it, bend it, insert one side to another and put the coffee in. There are slots for cups of coffee, coffee creams, coffee stirrers and sacs of sugar. Customer can also fill the space under the cups with some crackers. The whole point of it is to carry everything coffee lovers need. It is simple, helpful, eco, cheap and so fun!
Jägermeister #SAVETHENIGHT
Sebastian Sikora (CZE)
With the design and appearance of the packaging, I have been moving in the direction of impressing the customer with a minimalistic/premium look and unconventional opening. The Jägermeister´s Limited Edition #SAVETHENIGHT packaging consisting of 3 parts (main structure, fixation, sleeve) functions as a display/gift carrier for a 0.7L bottle. The material used is 300 and 350g/m2 paper with decorative elements made of gold and silver foil. COLORS Main - dark green, black Secondary - gold, silver.
bUZz.
Hana Tomaníková (CZE)
Imagine you´re going to the park to meet up with your friends for a picnic. You don‘t have time to stop at your apartment, but you still want to bring something with you. What do you do? The “bUZz.“ box is the perfect solution! „bUZz.“ is a fictional brand created by me. The name comes from the noise of the city and nature combined. Also, it resembles the sound of a sparkling drink - Buzzz The packaging itself is made of three-layer corrugated cardboard. It contains four cups and a glass bottle.
Purepack
Alžběta Pisoňová (SVK)
"Drinking out of paper bottle? Can be true in a few years! Concept of filled plastic bag inside paper bottle is nothing new, yet it is still not used in everyday life. In my opinion, the worst type of packing are used for milk and juices, which are mostly in pressured cartboard with added tinfoils and plastic layers (known as ,,tetrapack''). That is the reason I decided to design PUREPACK, new packaging for plant based alternatives of milk."
Cheers!
Klára Jelínková (CZE)
This is the packaging and at the same time the label of a children's non-alcoholic champagne, which you can change in a few movements into a set of paper cups resembling glasses for a toast. My Model is made of 100% solid glossy of paper, but in the next production it would be more appropriate to use non-wetting paper intended for the production of drinking cups. Six paper ''glasses'' are great for any children's party with their colorful and unbreakable features.
Tatra Tea
Sára Hejčíková (CZE)
I chose the packaging for Tatra tea, because I am very close to it. Tatra tea comes from the Tatras, from the mountains, and the shape of my packaging is also inspired by the mountains. The packaging is made of coated cardboard, using silver partial varnish. The package consists of three parts- bottom, sleeve, insert. Magnets are embedded in the bottom and the insert, which strengthen the packaging when closing. The colors are black and silver- based on the Tatra Tea bottle itself.
Milk Carrier
Vanda Trnková (CZE)
I designed a simple paper carrier for two 750 milliliter bottles of milk. I wanted to create a very simple and useful design without glue, which makes the model cheap and it can help small farms in milk distribution. The product is made from one piece of recycled material without creating unnecessary waste. The corrugated cardboard it is made of gives it strength and the possibility of repeated ingestion.
Le Tosque
Samuel Bratko (SVK)
Simplicity, variability, originality. These are the three characteristics that describe Le TOSQUE. It is a prototype packaging for drinks that, from the base to the detail, bypasses the stereotypical angular packaging as we know it. The design plays with graceful curves that give Le TOSQUE a sense of optical illusion about the center of gravity. The packaging is intended primarily for iced wine, but it can be used with other types of bottles and of course it can be made from different types of paper, with different types of closures.
TATRATEA MINI SET
Lea Romanowská (CZE)
Package design for mini set of tatratea suitable for display in small shops, made out of 300g black paper. Opening is tied by a ribbon. There are hidden magnets fo better security. The main use of the products is ment to serve as a gift . Both the contrustion and graphic are simple yet elegant to bring out the classiness. Logo is incomporated on the bottom. While designing I thought mainly about the products presentation. Package is made of one main piece and two small peaces inside.
UFO FOUR PACK
Karolína Pospěchová (CZE)
Four pack Ufo juice is a packaging designed for 4 glass bottles with a volumes of 250 ml. It's made of cardboard which makes the packaging eco-friendly and recyclable. Thanks to its construction solution is the package stackable, attractive and easy to be put together. The pixel graphics refers to an old retro video games which leads to another function of the package. It takes only two steps and you can turn the package into your own Ufo what can be used as a fun game - frisbee.
The 8 pack
Filip Muller (CZE)
Is the six-pack too little drinks for you and two of these is too much? Solution? The eight-pack. This packaging holds eight 0,5 l cans of beverage, while using only 0,22 m2 of 1,5 mm 3-layer cardboard. When designing this packaging, I made sure to think of each step of the beverages journey from the factory to the consumers hands. Its rectangular shape makes it easy to stack multiple of these packs together for transport and display in a shop. Buyers can carry their favourite beverage home thanks to a handle on top of the pack. When it’s time to enjoy your drink, the whole packaging can be opened in half and creates two seperate baskets, from which the cans can be taken with zero hustle. After use, the cardboard should be thrown into the appropriate recycling bin. The graphics on this packaging are really simple, as the cans of the product together from the outside. It is possible to cut two packs from a 1000x440 mm cardboard with almost no waste.
Hang out with Kofola
Laura Jelínková, Klára Jelínková (CZE)
This sixpack design for kofola cans is a multifunctional package. Thanks to wrapping into a compact unit, easy transfer is possible. When unwrapping, the package can be hung up and used as an exhibition environment for the Kofola drink. Because of 100% paper composition, the packaging is easily recyclable. At the same time, after hanging, it does not take up space on the shelves. It also saves time, as it is not necessary to place the cans on the shelves, and money, as the material is very cheap.
