Statement of Support for the United Nations Global Compact

Model Obaly a.s. supports the principles of the United Nations Global Compact and is committed to conducting business in a responsible, ethical, and sustainable manner.

We endorse and strive to uphold the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact in the areas of Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption.

In particular, we support the protection of internationally proclaimed human rights, reject all forms of forced and child labour, promote equal opportunities and non-discrimination, respect freedom of association and collective bargaining, support a precautionary approach to environmental challenges, promote environmental responsibility and environmentally friendly technologies, and maintain a zero-tolerance approach to corruption, extortion and bribery.

Through continuous improvement and responsible business conduct, we aim to contribute positively to sustainable development and create long-term value for our stakeholders. In practice, this includes a focus on occupational health and safety, recyclable packaging solutions, reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, responsible resource use, fair and transparent supplier relationships, and ethical communication with customers and business partners, as outlined in the Sustainability report.
