Why do we inform you about it?

New provisions of the amended Act – Telecommunications Law, based on the general guidelines of the European Parliament, entered into force on March 22, 2013. In accordance with the new Law, website owners are obliged to notify users that the website uses cookies and what is the purpose of that.

What are the cookies?

Cookies are small files containing data recorded at the moment a particular website is visited. They can be created in the device memory both by the WWW server and the website itself (device). They enable the operation of various elements of the website such as web hit counters and statistics and they save user settings (e.g. font size) etc..

Which cookies files are used at (English, Français, Hrvatski, Polski, Čeština, Ykpaïhcƅka)

The website uses only one transient cookie which enables the data transmission from our servers to your terminal device. It stores information used by the Content Management System, for example if the visitor’s browser has JavaScript enabled or if a user is still logged in.

Moreover, as functions and/or contents from external services are used, the following cookies may be stored:

  • Google - connected with the use of anonymous statistics Analytics and Google Maps plugins
  • Youtube - is created only if the service player has been installed
  • Vimeo – connected to display videos and player options
  • Haufe umantis – used to provide data about currently available career opportunities

Purpose: Drupal ( is our content management system and sets these cookies to store user interface preferences.

Duration: Expires after 3 weeks or if the session is closed.

Purpose: Used when you log in or submit a form, this keeps you logged in to the site so you don’t have to constantly re-enter your username and password.
