Biłgoraj Region Local Fund Foundation

In November of this year, Model Opakowania began its co-operation with the "Biłgoraj Region Local Fund Foundation". This organisation has been operating in the area of the Biłgoraj district and the borough of the Zwierzyniec for over 10 years now. Part of its activities include co-operating with international and national institutions by obtaining funds from sources such as: local resources (companies, private individuals, local governments) as well as Poland-wide grant programs. It helps in composing applications, organises grant and scholarship contests, awards donations and scholarships for talented and needy youth. It supports initiatives and finances projects in the areas of: education, culture and arts, sport, tourism, economic development and other areas of social life. The Foundation pays particular attention to children and youth. 617 high school and university students from the Biłgoraj district and the borough of Zwierzyniec have received scholarship aid so far. In 2009/2010, the Biłgoraj-based company Model Opakowania will provide three scholarships to middle school students. Students awarded with such scholarship assistance will receive financial support until graduating from middle school or until their living and material situation improve.
